Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Timetz (timetz.com) is a free, browser-based timezone conversion tool operated by an independent developer. The site converts times between cities and timezones — nothing more. Contact support is being configured and is not available yet.

2. Information we do NOT collect

• We do not require you to create an account or sign in.
• We do not ask for your name, email address, or any personal identifiers.
• We do not store the city or timezone queries you type into the converter.
• We do not use advertising networks or retargeting pixels.
• We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties.

3. Information that may be collected automatically

Like any website, our hosting infrastructure may capture standard server logs, which can include:

• Your IP address (anonymised or truncated where possible)
• Browser type and operating system
• The URL of the page you visited and the referring URL
• Date, time, and duration of the request

These logs are used solely for security monitoring and aggregate traffic analysis. They are retained for no more than 30 days and are never linked to any individual identity.

4. Cookies and local storage

Timetz uses browser localStorage to remember your preferred theme (light/dark) only. No city selections or usage history are stored. This data never leaves your device — it is never sent to our servers.

We do not set any tracking or advertising cookies. If a third-party analytics service is ever added, this policy will be updated before it goes live and a cookie notice will be shown.

5. Contact form

The contact form is currently marked as coming soon and does not submit messages. The planned support inboxes are not configured yet, so Timetz does not receive or store anything typed into that form.

6. Third-party services

Timetz may be hosted on a CDN or cloud platform (e.g. Vercel, Cloudflare). These providers have their own privacy policies governing infrastructure-level logs. We do not integrate any advertising, social media, or analytics SDKs that phone home to third parties on your behalf.

7. Children's privacy

Timetz is a general-purpose utility with no age-gated features and no data collection, making it safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If contact support becomes available later and we receive such data, we will delete it promptly after a valid request.

8. Your rights

Because we do not collect or store personal data, most data-subject rights (access, correction, deletion, portability) are satisfied by default — there is nothing to access or delete. Contact support is not available yet; once it is available, requests about any submitted personal data will be handled within 30 days.

If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

9. Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where feasible, post a notice on the site. Continued use of Timetz after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
